Visa Pour L'Image, the International Photojournalism Festival takes place each year in Perpignan from late August to early September (the exact dates are confirmed by the Festival Office each January). This is the event that professional photojournalists try their best to attend. There are exhibitions, talks and presentations on the major events of the previous year and developments in the field. This is a two week festival with the first week aimed at professional photojournalists and the second intended for amateurs. Amateurs can attend the first week too but press accreditation is required for some events. Some of your colleagues who've been here in recent years are from The Times of India, The Forward Group and Isaac Hernandez. |

At Mas Camps, we offer you a calm spot in the country but with economic private transfers to and from the festival and the airport. We charge 12€ per trip and divide this out amongst those travelling so it can be as little as 3€ each vs the 30€ that it costs from the beach hotels. Our full English breakfast will set you up for a long day of festival activities. Whilst you're here you have unlimited free internet access via our wireless ADSL network; if you've not brought a computer with you, you can borrow ours for internet access. Calling home? We don't add a "hotel supplement" to your call charges which combined with our discount service means that international calls can cost as little as 10c a minute (we charge faxes at the same rate). |
